Symptom

DHCP Client Service may not automatically. When you attempt to start
the Service manually, the following error may be displayed:

Error: Could not start the DHCP Client Service on local computer

Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.
Resolution

The DHCP Client Service in Windows XP, depends on these three components:

* AFD
* NetBios over Tcpip
* TCP/IP Protocol Driver

If one of the above drivers fail to start, then the DHCP Client
Service may not start.
Step I - Make sure that the three driver files are present

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to %Windir%\System32\Drivers
folder. Make sure that the following files are present in the folder:

* afd.sys
* tcpip.sys
* netbt.sys

If one or more of the above driver files are missing, extract them
from the Windows XP CD-ROM or from the ServicePackFiles\i386 folder,
whichever is the latest version.
Step II - Verify the number of Dependencies

From other sources in the Web, I've found that installation of Norton
Antivirus (NAV) adds an entry to the DHCP Service dependencies, and
removing NAV does not remove the corresponding entry from the DHCP
Dependencies.

To view the dependency services registered for DHCP Client Service,
type the following command in Start, Run dialog:

CMD /K SC QC DHCP

Verify the output. It should be exactly as below:

[SC] GetServiceConfig SUCCESS

SERVICE_NAME: dhcp
TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS
START_TYPE : 2 AUTO_START
ERROR_CONTROL : 1 NORMAL

If additional entries are listed under DEPENDENCIES...

If any other additional drivers or Services are mentioned in the
DEPENDENCIES section, you need to remove them via the registry. Follow
these steps:

* Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe
* Navigate to the following branch:
* Backup the branch to a REG file

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ Dhcp

* Double-click DependOnService value and set its data as follows:

Tcpip
Afd
NetBT

* Close Regedit.exe

Step III - Verify that the Dependency Service / components are running

Next step is to verify that the three dependency components are
running. Follow the steps below:

* Click Start, Run and type DEVMGMT.MSC
* In the View menu, click Show hidden devices
* Double-click Non-Plug and Play drivers section
* Double-click the entry AFD, and click the Driver tab
* Set the Startup type to System.
* Start the service. Note down the error message if any.
* Similarly start the two other drivers namely:

* TCP/IP Protocol Driver
* NetBios over Tcpip

* Close Device Manager and restart Windows.

Avoidant personality disorder (AvPD)[1] (or Anxious personality disorder[2]) is a personality disorder recognized in the DSM handbook, characterized by a pervasive pattern of social inhibition, feelings of inadequacy, extreme sensitivity to negative evaluation and avoidance of social interaction.
People with AvPD often consider themselves to be socially inept or personally unappealing, and avoid social interaction for fear of being ridiculed, humiliated, rejected or disliked.
AvPD is usually first noticed in early adulthood, and is associated with perceived or actual rejection by parents or peers during childhood. Whether the feeling of rejection is due to the extreme interpersonal monitoring attributed to people with the disorder is still disputed.

The DSM-IV-TR, a widely used manual for diagnosing mental disorders, defines avoidant personality disorder as:

A pervasive pattern of social inhibition, feelings of inadequacy, and hypersensitivity to negative evaluation, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by four (or more) of the following:

1. avoids occupational activities that involve significant interpersonal contact, because of fears of criticism, disapproval, or rejection
2. is unwilling to get involved with people unless certain of being liked
3. shows restraint initiating intimate relationships because of the fear of being ashamed, ridiculed, or rejected due to severe low self-worth
4. is preoccupied with being criticized or rejected in social situations
5. is inhibited in new interpersonal situations because of feelings of inadequacy
6. views self as socially inept, personally unappealing, or inferior to others
7. is unusually reluctant to take personal risks or to engage in any new activities because they may prove embarrassing

Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive emotionality and attention-seeking, including an excessive need for approval and inappropriate seductiveness, usually beginning in early adulthood. These individuals are lively, dramatic, enthusiastic, and flirtatious. They may be inappropriately sexually provocative, express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, and be easily influenced by others.
Associated features may include egocentricity, self-indulgence, continuous longing for appreciation, feelings that are easily hurt, and persistent manipulative behaviour to achieve own needs.

Karena Nila Setitik, Rusak Susu Sebelanga

Pepatah tersebut bermaksud bahwa segala kebaikan yang kita lakukan selama ini, suatu saat bisa rusak hanya karena suatu kesalahan kecil, atau kesalahan yang mungkin kurang relevan.

Dalam kasus ku, mungkin lebih tepat untuk sekaligus dikaitkan dengan pepatah : "semut di ujung lautan nampak, namun gajah di pelupuk mata tak nampak", hingga lengkaplah kondisi yang menyelimutiku saat posting ini dipublish.

Mungkin memang sudah menjadi nasibku untuk selalu 'disalahpahami', entah itu sesuai EYD atau tidak, yang pasti adalah orang lain cenderung untuk salah paham terhadapku.

Di hari ini aku telah diberi kabar yang cukup mengejutkan, yang selama ini diluar prasangka ku, bahkan lebih buruk daripada prasangka terburuk ku. Konyolnya, semua itu hanya karena hal yang menurutku sepele - sangat sepele, bahkan amat sangat sepele. Mungkin aku harus segera merubah sikap hidup ku ini untuk menjadi pribadi yang lebih kompatibel dengan orang lain. Berkat salah paham itu juga, segala kebaikan dan prestasi ku seolah lenyap, tak nampak, tak berbekas, tak dihargai ...

Huh, sisi buruk ku berkata, "percuma saja dikau berprestasi, orang lain akan selalu saja bersalahpaham terhadapmu ..."

Dan, sisi baik ku berkata, "syukuri apa yang ada, mungkin itulah jalan terbaikmu"

Dari dua pernyataan tersebut, hatiku condong pada pernyataan pertama, walaupun sikap dan perbuatanku condong pada pernyataan kedua. Sekali lagi, ini berkat sifat introvert yang kumiliki.

Ah, entahlah, aku tak tahu lagi mana yang benar dan mana yang salah. Percuma sajalah. Yang pasti saat ini, akan kulakukan semua sesuai protokol yang berlaku, dan kupendam dalam-dalam segala kreativitas dan prestasi yang kupunya, toh, ujung-ujungnya mereka akan SALAH PAHAM LAGI ...

Mimpi yang menakjubkan

12 Oktober '09,dini hari.
Aku mendapat mimpi yg sangat menakjubkan tentang 'prosesi' itu.Lucunya,aku tidak ingat akan inti dari acara tsb.Yg kuingat hanyalah sebelum dan sesudahnya (ttd).Karena,dalam mimpi itu aku dikisahkan sedang 'blank' di saat menjalaninya,dan konyolnya-hal tsb kuceritakan kpd ibuku yang terheran-heran mendengarnya.
'kok bisa?',katanya.
Dan tipikal seperti mimpi2ku lainnya,mimpi tsb suatu saat Insyaalloh akan jadi nyata.Tapi aneh juga jika jadi nyata,karena memang sangat ANEH.Dan Alloh SWT,seperti biasa pula,hanya memberiku sedikit petunjuk dan membangunkanku sebelum petunjuknya komplit.
Yeah,bagaimanapun juga aku hanya bisa berkomentar,'Subhanallah...'.Semoga mimpi ini akan menjadi nyata...
